The Tycoon's Odyssey

Chapter 198: 198:The Big Toys

As the unloading progressed on the Nicobar Islands, Viktor and his team worked meticulously to process the advanced technology and military hardware.

The place now resembled a high-tech assembly line, with components being organized and cataloged with precision. Among the impressive inventory being handled, there were some that were quite the baddy.

[Leopard 2A5 Tanks]

Several of these Nazi-made heavy tanks, renowned for their advanced armor and firepower, were inspected with great care. Each tank, valued at approximately $10 million, was thoroughly examined to ensure that it met the operational standards.

[M1 Abrams Tanks]

USL made and famous for their robustness, these tanks were also among the shipments. Each M1 Abrams cost between $6 million and $8 million, and the team ensured that each one of them was in top condition.

[Challenger 2 Tanks]

Royal tanks known for their impressive battlefield performance, came with a price of around $6 million each, and were also inspected for their readiness.

[T-90 and T-80 Tanks]

These USR tanks, valued between $3 million to $4 million each, were cataloged and checked for proper functionality.

[Merkava IV Tanks]

ISIS tanks with a price tag of about $6 million each were among the components being unloaded.

[AMX-56 Leclerc Tanks]

Borjoun tanks, costing around $8 million apiece, were carefully assessed for any necessary modifications.

As Viktor\'s team continued their work on cataloging the tanks, they also organized various aircraft components:

[MiG-29 Parts]

Dismantled sections of the MiG-29, a once-formidable Soviet jet, were being arranged, with the complete jet previously valued between $2 million and $10 million.

[2F-16 Fighting Falcon Parts]

Pieces of this advanced fighter jet were being assembled for future use. The complete aircraft were valued between $8 million and $20 million, now lay in parts, ready to be reassembled.

[Northrop F-5 Parts]

Components of this simpler, yet effective jet, with a complete aircraft priced between $1 million and $5 million, were being organized.

In addition to tanks and jets, various high-tech and experimental pieces were also included:

[Type 212 Submarine Components]

Parts from this advanced Nazi submarine, valued at around $250 million, were carefully inspected.

[Kilo-class Submarine Parts]

Components of this reliable submarine, worth approximately $100 million, were also among the numerous shipments.

The scene was one of intense activity as Viktor\'s team methodically prepared the sophisticated equipment for its next phase. The complex operation involved meticulous handling and coordination to ensure that every piece was accounted for and prepared for integration into Evan\'s ambitious projects.

The total cost of the equipment being processed reached approximately $394 million, a substantial investment that reflected the scale and ambition of Evan\'s plans.

At the sight of such big baddies, Evan\'s heart couldn\'t help but seem to leap out of his chest for a moment.

"So, is this how those weapon collectors feel? All of them are old, yet such marvelous pieces of art. No wonder weapon collectors lose their minds and keep on looking to buy these."

"Aurora, can all these be fine-tuned into the best counterparts?"

[Of course. Right now, we have the finest and most intelligent workforce. A few of the tribals have already mastered the advanced mechanical and technological knowledge and are salivating to work on those. On top of that, we have some of the greatest minds. People who laid the framework for such modern marvels and all this had been tracked by me.]

"Still, is it possible?" Evan asked skeptically.

The upgrades they were planning weren\'t just some minor tweaks. According to the blueprint, the beasts were going to be compact and could be capable of being used off-road, on-road, and even gliding over water and even diving beneath it.

[Pardon me, for saying this, but are you doubting me]

PFTT!

Evan burst into laughter hearing this. He could already picture Aurora pouting and putting her hands on her hips while glaring at him.

"AHHHHHHH!"

Just as Evan woke up from the stupor, he heard a bewildered scream from behind that shook him to the core.

"What fuck is this?"

"Are you preparing for a war?"

Daniel, who had just completed his VR training, stumbled into the scene, his eyes wide in shock as he took in the massive piles of military hardware.

The sight was overwhelming, and his voice trembled. "What the hell is this? Are you preparing for a war?"

Maintaining a straight face, Evan responded calmly, "Don\'t speak nonsense. I\'m just a weapon collector who has acquired these pieces as part of a collection. There\'s no need for any speculation."

Daniel, though wanting to argue that it was he who was spouting nonsense, chose to remain silent, still reeling from the shock.

The light reflecting from the metallic sheets blinded him momentarily and his heart was in a mess after witnessing the sheer size of the machinery.

"Are all of them operational?" Daniel asked excitedly.

The initial fear and shock in his eyes had disappeared and were replaced by a deep sense of joy and excitement. If possible, he wanted to ride one of these and maybe fire a few shots.

Evan smirked looking at Daniel. As someone who shared similar thoughts, he knew exactly what the fellow was thinking.

"Not yet, but surely pretty soon in the future."

"Haaaa! I want to take a ride alas…" Daniel sighed wistfully.

After a moment of silence, Evan\'s gaze softened. "Is everything done with the assimilation?"

Daniel nodded, his voice now more steadier. "Yes, everything is assimilated. By the way, thanks for all the knowledge."

"I can\'t describe it. It\'s like I have been reborn—like I have undergone nirvana. This is… miraculous."

Evan gave an approving nod. "Good. You can move on to the next task. But remember—the company you\'re going to set up must have no connection to us. You need to ensure a complete separation."

Daniel acknowledged the directive, understanding the seriousness of the situation. As he moved forward with his new responsibilities, the weight of his task and the secrecy it entailed weighed heavily in his mind.

"By the way, the thing you said about my life being at risk before if I take this job. It was a joke, right?" Daniel asked with a questioning look.

But hearing this, Evan averted his gaze and quietly enjoyed the breeze brushing his face.

"Right?"

"…"
