Legend of Dragon Son-in-law

Chapter 309 - 308: Meeting Gift_1

The employees, having seen Julius Reed’s fast, accurate, and ruthless action, dared not make any rash moves. A group of them ran behind Ashwin Lake and helped him up from the ground.

“Boss, are you okay?”

An employee took out a handkerchief from his pocket and gently wiped the blood off Ashwin Lake’s face.

Julius Reed’s strike had been so powerful that he shattered the hefty wine bottle.

Luckily for Ashwin Lake, his physical constitution was robust; anyone else would have suffered a severe concussion and passed out on the spot.

“Kid, you dare to hit me!”

Ashwin Lake staggered to his feet as the effects of the alcohol nearly dissipated.

Rubbing his eyes vigorously, he saw only stars and a black shadow. It took him about half a minute to finally make out Julius Reed’s location.

“Take him down for me! If anything happens, it’s on me!”

A wave of nausea hit Ashwin Lake, and he turned to vomit against the wall of the private room.

This was a typical reaction to a concussion.

“Didn’t you hear what Brother Beaumont said? Go!”

The faces of several employees darkened as they lunged at Julius Reed from different directions.

“Be careful!”

Anna Harris had just shouted when Julius Reed already moved.

He caught an employee’s arm with one hand and forcefully twisted it!

Crack!

A bone-snapping sound was followed by a heart-wrenching scream in the private room.

“Anna, come with me!”

Just then, Sheridan Isolde walked in from outside, grabbed Anna Harris’s hand, “He’s messed with the wrong person, you need to leave here with me quickly!”

“It’s you!”

Upon seeing Sheridan Isolde, Anna Harris was momentarily stunned, but then she reacted, wrenching her hand free, “Why are you here? Is everything happening now your doing behind the scenes?”

She wasn’t a fool.

It was too much of a coincidence that trouble arrived and Sheridan Isolde appeared right after.

Clearly, it was a conspiracy.

“Anna, what are you talking about? I was just passing by and heard noises. When I took a look, I discovered you were here!”

Sheridan Isolde feigned calm, “I guess this is fate. We may have parted ways years ago, but I’ve thought of you every single day since. Perhaps even heaven couldn’t stand it, arranging for us to meet again.”

“Get lost! The biggest regret of my life is having been blind enough to agree to be your girlfriend!”

Anna Harris pushed his hand away and pointed towards the door, “Get out! I don’t want to see your face!”

The atmosphere turned awkward in an instant.

Sheridan Isolde thought he’d covered his tracks perfectly back home, only to discover one of his ex-girlfriends was actually Anna Harris’s high school classmate.

That former classmate, after being dumped, had told Anna Harris every single detail about Sheridan Isolde’s behavior.

So, to Anna Harris, Sheridan Isolde’s seemingly heartfelt performance was utterly revolting!

“Brother Samuel, what’s going on?”

Noticing something amiss, two young men immediately approached.

“Ha! Sheridan Isolde, you all are obviously in cahoots!”

Seeing that they knew each other, Anna Harris sneered and turned her head away.

“Fine! Anna Harris, we will wait and see!”

With his deception exposed, Sheridan Isolde no longer bothered to feign innocence but coldly hummed and pointed at Anna Harris, “Stop acting so pure with me! Tell me, how much for one night with you? Just name your price, and if it’s right, I’ll pay it!”

In his eyes, there wasn’t a woman who didn’t love money; if there was, it simply meant the price wasn’t high enough.

He had once taken a fancy to a B-list celebrity who acted coy, refusing all advances. In the end, Sheridan Isolde managed to part her legs with ten million, making that seemingly innocent starlet spend the night in his bed.

As for Anna Harris, if she hadn’t been his ex-girlfriend, he wouldn’t have given her a second glance.

The unattainable is always in turmoil.

“Sir, please show some respect!”

Quella Radcliffe was very displeased, standing between Anna Harris and Sheridan Isolde.

She wasn’t worried about Julius Reed; she knew exactly what kind of strength her husband possessed.

If the Shadow Warrior armed with a Gatling gun couldn’t beat Julius Reed, what chance did these drunken fools stand?

As for Sheridan Isolde, Quella Radcliffe knew all about him through Anna Harris.

Two words to describe him: scum.

She could ignore him on any other day, but now he wanted to bully Anna Harris right in front of her?

Unacceptable!

“Who are you?”

Sheridan Isolde arched an eyebrow, a smile appearing at the corner of his mouth, “What, you want to come with me?”

Previously occupied with talking to Anna Harris, he hadn’t even noticed such a stunning beauty beside him.

Quella Radcliffe was already beautiful, but under the slightly dim light of the private room, she was even more enchanting.

Even Sheridan Isolde, who had slept with countless women, found her breathtaking at first sight.

“Please have some decency!”

Quella Radcliffe’s face darkened, irritation already brewing within her.

She despised such frivolous men the most in her life.

“One million, come with me.”

Sheridan Isolde looked at Quella Radcliffe with a playful expression.

Slap!

But the response he received was the crisp sound of a slap.

“Interesting!”

Sheridan Isolde was momentarily stunned, then burst into laughter, “Take her away for me!”

Fueled by alcohol, he was becoming intoxicated and infatuated.

Whoosh! Whoosh!

But at that moment, Ashwin Lake’s employees were already getting beaten up by Julius Reed, sprawled across the floor, searching for their teeth.

“Get lost!”

Quella Radcliffe swung her hand, landing another slap!

“Damn it! You’re getting addicted to this!”

Sheridan Isolde felt immediate rage inside him, and he swung back with a slap!

“Careful!”

Ana Harris, sitting in the wheelchair, quickly pulled Quella Radcliffe over, but ended up taking the hit herself.

A clear slap mark appeared on her originally delicate and tender face.

“Daring to dodge!”

Seeing that he had missed Quella Radcliffe, Sheridan Isolde rolled up his sleeves, ready to strike again!

But as he raised his hand halfway, it was seized and held firmly by someone else.

“Scram! Don’t interfere with me!”

Sheridan Isolde, emboldened by alcohol, let out his young master’s temper once again.

Yet the other person didn’t let go.

“Didn’t you hear me speaking?”

He turned around, facing Julius Reed who was standing behind him, staring emotionlessly.

“Let go of me!”

Sheridan Isolde snapped impatiently.

With Ashwin Lake there, everyone had to show some respect.

However, what he didn’t realize was that at that moment, Ashwin Lake was already leaning against a wall, unsure what to do.

The staff members sprawled around, no match for Julius Reed.

With no other choice, Ashwin Lake quietly sent a WeChat message to Dominating Tiger, asking for help.

“That hand hit people?”

Julius Reed looked at Sheridan Isolde coldly, causing a chill to run down his spine.

“What are you doing! I warn you, this is Twilight Mansion! If you dare make a scene…”

Sheridan Isolde hadn’t finished his sentence when he was interrupted by Julius Reed, “Never mind, it’s all the same. Just leave both hands.”

With that, Julius Reed picked up the steel fork from the table that was used for eating steaks.

“What do you want to do!”

Sheridan Isolde felt a tightening in his chest, sensing big trouble.

“Brother Beaumont!”

He shouted the name, and Ashwin Lake hurried over, saying with a hint of threat, “Kid, restrain yourself! My boss, Dominating Tiger, is on his way. Let go of my brother today, and I might be able to plead on your behalf later!”

Lately, Aron Jackson had gained significant influence, and Dominating Tiger’s reputation soared along with it. At least in Gonzalez City, everyone knew who Aaron Martin was when mentioned.

“Then let’s give Dominating Tiger a welcoming present.”

Crack!

Julius Reed acted swiftly, the fork descending straight onto Sheridan Isolde’s wrist.
