The Young Urban Doctor

Chapter 251 - 251 You Can Seek Help from Others

In his dorm room, the three guys were all absent; before the holiday, they had mentioned they were going home, probably now reuniting with their parents.

Thinking about their reunions, Luo Ziling, who had never spent a holiday with his own parents, suddenly felt a deep ache.

He picked up his phone again, intending to send a message to his WeChat friend called “Yue.”

He had confirmed that the WeChat account was registered by Wuyue, but most of the time, it was Ling Ruonan using it.

So, he changed the WeChat nickname to an M.

He initially wanted to change it to “Mom,” but it somehow didn’t seem quite right, so he settled for the letter “M” instead.

He didn’t know what Ling Ruonan was doing now, whether she, like him, was thinking about the other.

But after thinking it over, he still didn’t send a message.

Strangely enough, during these two days of the National Day long holiday, the regular greeting messages he used to get were nowhere to be found.

It must be those classmates who usually sent him greetings were either out playing or had gone home, too busy to send him messages.

While he was wrestling with his thoughts, suddenly the text message alert sounded on his phone.

It was a message from Ouyang Feifei. “Didn’t go out during the National Day holiday?”

“In the dormitory, alone.” Luo Ziling replied with a message out of boredom and continued to lean back, lost in thought.

Soon, his phone rang again, Ouyang Feifei was calling him.

After answering the phone and exchanging brief pleasantries, Ouyang Feifei asked him, “Would you like to go out for coffee with me?”

“I don’t like coffee; it tastes weird,” he replied.

“I have good tea,” she said.

Feeling stifled inside, Luo Ziling didn’t want to stay alone in his dorm. Wanting to talk with someone, he hesitated for a moment before accepting Ouyang Feifei’s invitation for tea.

“I’ll have Wang Qing come to pick you up,” Ouyang Feifei said, and then she hung up the call.

After taking a shower and getting ready, Luo Ziling left the dorm room and waited at the school gate for Wang Qing.

After about five minutes, a black Mercedes-Benz pulled up beside him.

Once the car stopped, Wang Qing’s pretty face appeared from the lowered window.

“The young lady asked me to pick you up, get in,” she said.

Luo Ziling nodded and got into the passenger seat.

As he settled into the passenger side, Luo Ziling caught a faint scent, probably emanating from Wang Qing.

This woman was quite beautiful, but she always wore a stern face, and her clothing was invariably a monotonous blue suit or dress, which took away some vivacity.

Wang Qing was not fond of talking, and since Luo Ziling was in a bad mood today, they exchanged a few words before falling into silence.

“The young lady is at home,” Wang Qing initiated conversation when she saw Luo Ziling didn’t ask anything, “Actually, she also wanted you to give her another treatment today.”

“She didn’t say,” Luo Ziling turned his head to glance at Wang Qing, “How about tomorrow or the day after? I should be free these next few days.”

Wang Qing nodded but didn’t speak.

The two of them arrived at the villa where Luo Ziling had once treated Ouyang Feifei in silence.

Getting out of the car, Luo Ziling saw Ouyang Feifei reading on the sofa through the French windows.

When she saw him come in, Ouyang Feifei put down the magazine in her hand and came to greet him.

“You’ve arrived,” Ouyang Feifei revealed a rare smile and gestured with her hand, “Please sit.”

Today, Ouyang Feifei was only in simple home attire, a light green sweater with a slightly darker long skirt, and her hair was merely fastened at the back of her head with a hairpin. Today’s Ouyang Feifei wasn’t as cold and unapproachable as usual. Her dress and that faint smile eliminated the high and mighty prestige she often carried.

Compared with her usual sharp and efficient demeanor, today’s Ouyang Feifei looked even more beautiful and endearing, with the air of the girl next door.

“What would you like to drink? Longjing, Biluochun, or black tea? We have Da Hong Pao and foreign black tea.” After Luo Ziling sat down, Ouyang Feifei sat beside him and quietly asked Luo Ziling what he wanted to drink.

“Longjing, please. I always drink that,” Luo Ziling said with a shy smile.

When he was in the Northwest, he indeed drank Longjing tea, and it was always the finest quality. It was just that he didn’t know where his grandfather managed to find such good tea leaves.

Ouyang Feifei nodded gently, signaling to Wang Qing, who had parked the car, to brew two cups of Longjing green tea for them.

Wang Qing responded and immediately set about making the tea.

While waiting for Wang Qing to brew the tea, Luo Ziling didn’t say anything to Ouyang Feifei, and she didn’t initiate any conversation either.

Once Wang Qing had prepared the tea, along with some snacks and fruit, he left the living room, giving Luo Ziling and Ouyang Feifei some space.

“I heard you are dating Yang Qingyin?” After Wang Qing left, Ouyang Feifei opened her mouth to speak. While talking, her eyes fixed on Luo Ziling with a slightly playful look, “Don’t you know her identity?”

“Have you been keeping tabs on me?” Luo Ziling couldn’t help but frown.

Hearing that Luo Ziling didn’t deny it, Ouyang Feifei felt a sudden sense of loss inside.

“You might not be fully aware of the past feud between the Ling Family and the Yang Family. If you truly understood, you definitely wouldn’t involve yourself with the Yang Family. They have always wanted to prevent you and your father from returning to Yanjing. They wish for your death.”

Ouyang Feifei had expected Luo Ziling to be shocked after hearing this.

However, to her surprise, he seemed completely unconcerned.

“I know,” Luo Ziling replied indifferently, not saying anything more.

Ouyang Feifei felt annoyed but didn’t say more.

The two sat side by side in silence, and the atmosphere became a bit awkward.

“It’s good that you know, just be careful,” Ouyang Feifei eventually started the conversation again, “When I talked to your mother last time, she said that you had never learned English and hoped to find an English tutor for you. I mentioned it to the head of your department, and he agreed to help you find a suitable English tutor.”

“It turns out it was your arrangement,” Luo Ziling expressed his surprise, “A few days ago, an English teacher already approached me, saying she will tutor me in English. I indeed never learned English. I’ve just managed to recognize the twenty-six letters, well, maybe not entirely yet.”

Ouyang Feifei then changed the subject back to the previous topic, “If the Yang Family know that you and Yang Qingyin are dating, they will certainly interfere. With your current capabilities, you simply can’t oppose them. Even if your mother is willing to help, she can’t stand against the Yang Family. But you can seek help from others.”

Luo Ziling was surprised, “Whose help?”
