The Young Urban Doctor

Chapter 302: 302 An Odd Feeling

Luo Ziling took a few deep breaths, forcing himself to cast aside distracting thoughts.

He worked to adjust his state of mind and started to insert the needles.

By the time he was ready to insert the needles, Luo Ziling had already positioned himself properly, his hand not shaking at all— he accurately inserted the needle into the Yaoyu acupoint on Ouyang Feifei’s waist.

After the needle was inserted, Luo Ziling began the qi treatment. With the rotation of his fingers, Ouyang Feifei could distinctly feel a warm flow in a certain part of her body, an indescribably comfortable sensation.

After the Yaoyu acupoint, came the Guanyuan and Huantiao points. When the needles were inserted, Luo Ziling rotated them in different ways. During the qi treatment, he would occasionally ask Ouyang how she was feeling.

What he primarily focused on was whether Ouyang Feifei felt any warm or cool flow in her body while he was conducting the qi treatment; if she could feel it, it meant his treatment methods were effective.

Ouyang Feifei’s reactions were quite satisfying, and he knew that his treatment was quite effective.

The treatment lasted about an hour. Luo Ziling inserted needles into multiple acupoints on Ouyang Feifei’s back, stomach, waist, and limbs. After a session of treatment, he was so exhausted that he was gasping for breath.

When the treatment ended, Luo Ziling, who was very invested in treating Ouyang Feifei, went limp and sat down on the floor.

The sudden thump startled the half-asleep Ouyang Feifei, who was unsure of her state.

She immediately sat up nervously and asked Luo Ziling, “What’s wrong?”

“It’s nothing,” Luo Ziling said, shaking his head awkwardly, “I’m just a bit out of strength, my legs went weak and I couldn’t stand.”

Ouyang Feifei felt awkward too, but there was more of a languid feeling.

It took her a few minutes to slowly get up.

Seeing Luo Ziling leaning on the sofa to rest, she couldn’t help but feel a tenderness in her heart.

“Ziling, why don’t you take a nap? You must be exhausted,” Ouyang Feifei’s voice was indescribably gentle.

This gentleness wasn’t forced; it flowed naturally.

“Go take a bath, don’t worry about me,” Luo Ziling said, smiling and shaking his head, “I’ll be fine after a little rest.”

“Alright, then I’ll go have a shower.” After fixing her clothes, Ouyang Feifei finally got up.

But just two steps in, her body suddenly went weak, and she nearly fell to the ground.

Turns out, during the treatment Luo Ziling gave her, she also expended a lot of strength, sweated profusely, and her muscles were in a state of relaxation. She hadn’t realized this and after walking a couple of steps, she went limp.

Luo Ziling acted quickly, catching her in his arms, and then gently reminded her, “Sit for a while, get used to it before you get up.”

Feeling the warmth of being held, Luo Ziling instantly felt intoxicated.

Suddenly embraced by strong, powerful arms, Ouyang Feifei couldn’t help but let out a low gasp, instinctively struggling. But once she sniffed the scent emanating from Luo Ziling, she unexpectedly felt her heart sway and ceased struggling.

After a few seconds of stunned silence, Luo Ziling was the first to come to his senses, his face red as he placed her onto the bed before making a quick escape.

Ouyang Feifei, who took a moment to realize what had happened, watched Luo Ziling flee the room and couldn’t help but smile with a hint of mirth.

She thought to herself, if she could always feel this way, she might not mind the suggestion her grandfather had made…
